The first experience of the Open University of Maidan (OUM) activities helped us to make several important conclusions. Gained experience supported us in our decision to create “Concerned Activist’s School” educational program. This school is the result of facilitators', psychologists', activists', and leaders’ work. Implementing the experience of 26 events we had held all over Ukraine, we transformed the School into a branch of massive open online courses that provide a balanced and comprehensive base of knowledge about public activism, have straight structure and deliver simple and precise messages.

The course is aimed at employees of small libraries (urban, district, rural), who sincerely seek the ways to make their library modern and open to different categories of users. The online course was developed by the Ukrainian Library Association, with the support of the United Nations Peacebuilding and Reconstruction Program. The UN Peacebuilding and Peacebuilding Program is being implemented by four UN agencies: The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the UN Structure on Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (UN Women), the UN Population Fund (UNFPA), and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The program is supported by eleven international partners: The European Union, the European Investment Bank, as well as the governments of the United Kingdom, Denmark, Canada, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Sweden, and Japan. We created the course grounding on more than 100 hours of trainings with the people's deputies and their assistants, which we had already held within USAID Rada Program. The program is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation together with Internews-Ukraine NGO and its partners.  The course is open for everyone. 
Due to an outdated system of thinking, Ukrainians need to be explained the difference between the owner of a private house and the owner of the apartment blocks. It is not obvious to everyone that there may be many co-owners in the apartment building and problems may seem alien until the moment when the water leaks through the holey roof. To make decisions, people need to be ready to communicate, negotiate, persuade, and defend their own position. Apartment buildings co-owners should become a community and take responsibility for their property. The basis of the common resources management of the community is the advocacy of the legitimate rights and each owner responsibilities. The Conscious Citizen School is a complex program of civic education launched by the founders of the Open University of Maidan and the Dialogue on Maidan initiative in January-February 2014. The purpose of this program is the formation of proactive civil society in the Ukrainian regions: assistance to local activists in search ideas and formation of teams that will realize different projects in their communities to change the situation for the better. The program comprises 10 courses and covers various aspects of the development at the personal and institutional levels. All the courses are freely accessible and open to everyone.
This course is not about yoga, mediums or mass media. It considers an effective communication that allows to find a solution that satisfies both sides of the communication process. The course provides basic concepts of mediation methods and presents effective ways of conflict solving. This course is for those who want to understand their own desires, and also meet the other person needs. It is also for those who deal with conflict situations and want to learn how to solve them. The use of some mediation methods becomes clear immediately after the course completion. All interested people are provided with special opportunities for further trainings. The course is in Russian. It is well known that values determine human behavior. Most of our values are formed at the age of 12-14 years old. The world is changing rapidly. Historical events, economic crises, social processes, technology development have a significant impact on how our life changes every 15-20 years. Nevertheless, we are surprised that people of various ages often can’t find an understanding and look at the same things in very different ways. This phenomenon is explained by the theory of generations. According to this theory, every 20 years a new generation of people is formed. These generations have different life perceptions, values, differing views on family building, careers, relaxation, communication with friends and interaction with each other. These and many other interesting issues are considered in this course. The course is in Ukrainian. It is freely accessible and open to everyone.
This course is an introduction to integral dynamics which is an effective model of the evolution of thinking, leadership and management. It describes the development of psychosocial systems on different levels, such as a person, a company, people, and humanity. The course allows to learn how the values ​​and ways of thinking influence people’s behavior, why people often can’t come up with effective ways of managing subordinates. It allows to analyze the diversity of management cultures and learn how to accept the position of colleagues, see opportunities and ways to improve yourself and your team. The course also shows the evolution of thinking and its influence on the evolution of economic relations, political systems, cultures and religions, national identity, etc. The course is in Ukrainian. This course is for active citizens who participate in social and business projects and are interested in personal and professional development. It helps to understand the one’s true desires, needs and values. The problem is that people may experience the same states and according to this they form social groups. To cooperate successfully within the working groups one should clearly understand members of these groups as well as their motives. Many public projects fail and many businesses went bankrupt just because many do not understand the peculiarities of cooperation.
