ADVANCING EQUITABLE ACCESS TO IT CAREERS

 

Всім випускникам програми, які отримали сертифікати (окрім менторів), пропонуємо взяти участь в розіграші навчальних подарунків “Активація на Миколая”.

В рамках  Активації 7-8 грудня 2023 р. методом випадкового вибору за допомогою сервісу Random.org (або іншої аналогічної комп’ютерної програми) буде визначено 4 переможців, які отримають право на одне із заохочень від  партнерів ГО ВУМ:

With support from Google.org, the INCO Academy – Work in Tech Ukraine program empowers you to advance your career in tech for FREE.

 

The Google Professional Certificate courses, 100% accessible online on Coursera, allow you to acquire the digital skills sought by employers and become job-ready thanks to hands-on projects and up-to-date topics. Signing up for the Google Career Certificates, you can select one of four courses to help grow the necessary skills to support a career in technology and IT. Please DO NOT register directly on Coursera – as only paid version is available with self-registration.

The courses, available on Coursera, include:

In the Cybersecurity course you will learn:

  • – Understand the importance of cybersecurity practices and their impact on organizations.
  • – Identify common risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, as well as techniques to mitigate them.
  • – Protect networks, devices, people, and data from unauthorized access and cyberattacks using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
  • – Gain hands-on experience with Python, Linux, and SQL.

Through videos, assessments, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to use popular tools and platforms required for a job. Participants will also be able to attend soft skills and job search webinars / explore the records.
We kindly ask you to choose ONE program to apply for.

What can you expect by applying?

  • – Fully funded access to the online professional certification program developed by Google – FREE OF CHARGE
  • – In-depth preparation for an IT job
  • – No previous degree is required. Experience will be a plus!

There are program selection criteria as follows:

  • – you have lost the job during the war or you are at risk of losing your job shortly
  • – high motivation to acquire new knowledge and skills
  • – level of English: Intermediate + (all the selection and studies are in English, no translation provided)
  • – you are situated in Ukraine during the selection process and till the end of your studies.

Priority will be given to people with special needs, internally displaced people, and those persons who suffered from the consequences of hostilities.

Overall 100 places will be available in these programs.
