“Space Coworking” in Boyarka, Kyiv region, was the result of project pitching and trainings organized by the NGO OUM and the Boyarka City Council under the program of the British Council. The purpose of the project was to create a convenient platform for the cooperation of public organizations and active citizens as well as to promote the idea of the importance of spending time with family and taking an active social position.
Since “Space Coworking” started working, more than 10 family meetings were held, where children, teens and their parents were present. Total number of visitors were more than 200 people.
The following important topics were discussed at the meetings: “Land Relations between the Authorities and Citizens”, “Civil organization Initiatives and their Involvement in Urban Programs” as well as different master classes in various areas, creative evenings, movie shows, fairy tale readings, etc. were held.
Now “Space Coworking” is working like the headquarter for many public organizations in Boyarka.
