VUM online was recognized as one of the best implemented online practices in the field of civic education

In 2020, the NGO OUM became a member of the Civic Education in Eastern Europe (EENCE) network. EENCE’s mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of civil society in the Eastern Partnership region through the development of civic education and the support of organizations and experts working in this field. https://eence.eu/

The Best Online Practices competition was held as part of the Civic Education Week, which took place on October 5-11, 2020. In a pandemic worldwide, thanks to modern online communication tools, representatives of 10 countries in Central, Eastern Europe and Asia had the opportunity to share experiences in implementing civic education, as well as to assess the achievements of partners.

Authors of more than 40 practices from all Eastern Partnership countries, as well as from Russia, took part in the competition.

The international jury determined the winners of the competition in two nominations:

  1. Planned online practices in the field of civic education
  2. Implemented online practices in the field of civic education
