On October 17, 2023, the distance course “Creation of effective DMOs for the tourism development of territories”, developed by leading experts of the Association of the Hospitality Industry of Ukraine (AIGU) and the National Association of Inbound and Domestic Tourism of Moldova (ANTRIM), was launched on our platform.
The course will be useful for everyone interested in creating competitive smart destinations, as well as in strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of the community through the development of tourism and hospitality in their regions – representatives of local authorities, specialists in the field of tourism and hospitality, representatives of creative industries, and as well as local businesses and public organizations, the scientific and academic community.
It will help establish a Destination Management Organization (DMO) or transform an existing DMO into a financially stable and effective Territory Competitiveness Management Organization. It will provide a clear road map for smart destinations developing with the help of DMO.
The study load of the course corresponds to 19.5 acad. hours or 0.65 ECTS credits.
