On October 27 Mykola Ilyinov, “Energy Efficiency in the Residential Sector” project expert had presented online course “Energy Efficiency of the apartment blocks in practice” that was recently launched on VUM online platform. It happened during the last module of “School for Mayors”.
The course is based on the actual examples of citizens modernizing multistory buildings. These activists got financial support from the banks, governmental and regional programs. Dating back September 2017, there are more than thousands of successful examples of these programs’ efficient performance. Due to these activities, more than half a million Ukrainian citizens were able to save on heating and significantly improve their living conditions.

Also, Ostap Stasiv, founder of the platform for distant public education vumonline.ua presented OUM that contains courses for activists and representatives of city councils. During “School for Mayors” module Ostap invited future chiefs of the councils to popularize the courses amount representatives of the communities.
