What is a circular economy? Why is it so important to talk about it during the war? How can the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals help in planning the post-war rebuilding? How to finally get rid of the Soviet legacy and upgrade the quality of life in our cities and towns to the level of global standards and requirements of the 21st century? The new distance online course “Sustainable development strategies for cities and communities: practical tips” on the vumonline.ua platform answers these and a lot more questions.
The course combines theoretical lectures with practical cases and is primarily aimed at representatives of local authorities, public activists, and representatives of socially responsible business, interested in gaining knowledge about how to plan and implement sustainable development strategies and circular economy principles in their communities.
The course was created with the Konrad Adenauer representative office in Ukraine support.
