Dear friends and partners! The Open University Maidan team congratulates you on the upcoming New Year! 2017 was uneasy though a very interesting year. We thank all of you strong and straight support.
Now we’d like to draw conclusions, as there are many achievements we had in 2017:
- The number of users on VUM online has grown by 16,319 users.
- We have launched 14 new online courses, including «Social Entrepreneurship: Design Thinking and Ambiguity» «Creative Thinking», «Effective Management of Common Areas in Condominiums», and one complex program – “Conscious Citizen School”.
- In 2017, 27 new lecturers and 32 guest experts joined VUM online.
- VUM online users received more than 5000 certificates after the completion of online courses.
- We published our own model of civic competencies linked to the online courses on VUM online. You can see the Ukrainian variant here.
- Over the year, there were more than 600,000 unique views of VUM online.
- In 2017, the Active Citizens project has attracted more than 12,000 Ukrainian citizens in various fields. Of these, the NGO OUM has collaborated and interacted directly with more than 2,000 people.
- As a part of the Active Citizens project, 10 events were held with the assistance of the Open University of Maidan. We were participants and organizations of the social initiatives in all regions of our country.
